Iida Oksanen has started at Setlementtiasunnot as a resident manager.
– I applied for a job at Setlementtiasunnot because I had heard many good things about the company. The values and community activities interest me, and it’s great to work with pleasant and well-maintained buildings, she says. She has previously worked at Kojamo in similar roles.
Maintenance Requests Electronically
As a resident manager, Iida is responsible for the smooth operation of rental and resident activities. She develops cooperation with resident committees, service providers, and other stakeholders, and is responsible for managing the daily operations of property maintenance and cleaning companies.
– I am in daily contact with partners and residents so that we can offer our residents the best possible service, she says.
She emphasizes that in property maintenance, it is crucial that properties are managed purposefully and in a timely manner.
– Residents should always report matters requiring maintenance or repair using the electronic maintenance request form via the Kerro application or our website, she reminds.
Iida hopes that residents will share their development ideas without hesitation. Currently, feedback can be given at resident meetings and through a monthly survey in the Kerro application, which is open at the beginning of each month. Feedback channels are continuously being developed.
Enjoying Home Life
Iida says she enjoys working at Setlementtiasunnot.
– Setlementtiasunnot has pleasant people working there, and it’s always nice to come to the office. The buildings are great, and I have had the opportunity to do a wide variety of work and further develop operations, she says.
