KAS asunnot Oy and Setlementtiasunnot Oy concluded a transaction on October 15, 2019, for all shares of Setlementtiasumisoikeus Oy. These will transfer to KAS asunnot’s ownership on December 31, 2019. The transaction amount will not be disclosed. <\/h6>\n\n

The transaction involves a total of 405 apartments in Espoo, Helsinki, Hyvink\u00e4\u00e4, Kuopio, and Vantaa. The transaction will not affect residents, and living arrangements will continue as before. <\/p>\n\n

“In its new strategy, Setlementtiasunnot has defined a focus on developing community-oriented, ecological, and affordable rental housing. We can now better concentrate our resources, processes, and expertise development on a single concept. This way, we can better serve our residents and develop new housing solutions in line with our strategy, together with our partners,” states Heli Kotilainen<\/strong>, CEO of Setlementtiasunnot.<\/p>\n\n

“KAS asunnot focuses its operations on growing regions in accordance with its strategy, and this transaction supports that goal. It is important for us to be able to offer both market-priced, privately financed apartments and affordable ARA-subsidized rental apartments for people at different stages of life. Right-of-occupancy housing is one housing option and particularly necessary in the Helsinki metropolitan area, where almost all of the newly acquired housing stock is located,” states Jarmo Kuosa<\/strong>, CEO of KAS asunnot.<\/p>\n\n
