Neighborhood Week is observed across Finland from May 19\u201325, 2025<\/h3>\n

We will announce the winner of the Neighbor of the Year 2025 award in honor of the week. Our residents will also organize events at our buildings during the week. <\/p>\n

What is Neighborhood Week?<\/h4>\n

Neighborhood Week is an internationally recognized event week that emphasizes the importance of neighborliness, community, and considering others. In Finland, the settlement movement brings the week into the lives of many localities with various activities and events<\/a>. In addition to Setlementtiasunnot, 12 other settlements across Finland are participating in the event week. <\/p>\n

Events during the week<\/h4>\n

19.5. Resident event at our Alppikyl\u00e4 building.<\/p>\n

20.5. The Neighbor of the Year 2025 award will be given to one of our residents.<\/p>\n

20.5. Resident coffee event at our Penttil\u00e4nranta building in Joensuu.<\/p>\n

21.5. Resident coffee event at our Viikki building.<\/p>\n

24.-25.5. Resident event at our Kontula building.<\/p>\n

24.5. Resident event at our Kruunuvuorenranta building.<\/p>\n

24.5. Yard cleanup and yard sale at our Postipuisto building.<\/p>\n

25.5. Yard event at our Penttil\u00e4nranta building in Joensuu.<\/p>\n

25.5. Resident meeting at our Viikki building.<\/p>\n

25.5. Resident coffee event at our Havukoski building.<\/p>\n
