Where do I see free homes?
As the situation in vacant homes changes rapidly, free homes will not be updated on our website. You can find some of the vacant apartments on our Oikotie.fi page . When you submit a home application, you may want to choose all the houses you are interested in for the application.

How do I get information about the situation in my housing application?
We do not answer the applications for applications on the phone and do not email. Also, it is not possible for us to provide temporary information to applicants. Residential selection follows Varke's (previously ARA) resident selection guidelines and contact our customer service does not speed up possible processing or home receipt. We are in contact with the applicant if we can offer him an apartment.

When is I offered an apartment?
In the choice of residents, we follow the criteria (formerly ARA), which take into account the urgency of the need for the dwelling, as well as the applicant's income and wealth. Because there are significantly more applicants in need of an urgent apartment than vacant homes, unfortunately we cannot offer an apartment to everyone. For this reason, we are also unable to give a time estimate for getting an apartment.

How's my latest application?
You can renew the valid application either by email at info@setlementtiasunnot.fi or by calling customer service on +358 10 837 5300 if the application information has not changed. The application is valid for 4 months. If there have been changes to the application information or the application has already expired, make a new application on our website.

Can I have an apartment from you when I have entries in my credit information?
Deficiency in credit information is not an automatic barrier to getting a home. Rental debt, repetitive entries and large amounts of debt can affect the receipt of the home.

Move-in

Can I have the keys to the apartment before the lease starts?
The keys cannot be transferred before the lease begins. The resident may pick up the keys once the lease is in force and the security has been paid or the reel or social commitment has arrived for us.

When will the collateral be paid?
The security must be paid before the lease begins. We hand over the keys to the apartment to a new resident once the lease is in force and the security has been paid or the commission of Kela or Social Services has arrived for us.

When will I get to see the apartment?
If you wish, you can see the apartment at the time you have received the apartment offer and submit the necessary application appendices and have been revised.

When will I sign the lease?
The lease will be signed at a time when the application appendices requested during the housing offer have been revised, you may have visited the apartment and you have confirmed that you are accepting the apartment.

How do I sign the lease?
In principle, the lease is signed electronically. If an electronic signature is not possible for you, you may agree to the lease to sign the appointment with the renter.

I can't get the keys. Can my relative or acquaintance apply for the keys to the apartment for me?
Another person can apply for the keys to your apartment for you by proxy.

Are the parking space and the use of the common areas of the house?
The use of the laundry, the gym, community space and the use of any other common spaces are included in the rent. The sauna shifts and the parking space are paid.

How can I book a parking space?

What is the notice period for the parking space?
The termination period for the parking space lease is one month of calendar, in which the agreement ends on the last day of the month following the notice.

Can I rent a parking space for a short time?
It is not possible to enter into a parking space lease on a fixed term. The parking spaces will be leased through an indefinite contract, with a mutual notice period of one calendar month, in which case the contract expires on the last day of the month following the notice.

How do I reserve common spaces?
You can book common facilities Kerro application or in some of our houses by marking the booking book in the booking book. The Postipuisto block house has its own reservation system.

How do I book a sauna shift?
You can book a sauna shift depending on the booking practice in your house. In some of our houses, sauna shifts are reserved individually, allowing you to make a reservation with Kerro application . When do I get to sign in Kerro story? You can sign in Kerro when your lease has begun.

Is electricity included in the rent?
Electricity is not included in the rent. You must make an electricity agreement yourself.

Is it possible to change the due date for the rent payment?
The due date for the rent is the same for all our residents and it is not possible to change the due date.

Student apartment

Who can live in a student apartment?
Student housing can be home to adult students, whose studies are leading to a degree, such as students from universities, polytechnics and vocational schools and high school students.
