Moving to your new apartment

Congratulations on your new home with setting homes! Remember to take care of these a few things to move to your new apartment smoothly.

Gear

You will receive separate instructions on picking up the keys after signing the lease. Please note that the collateral should be delivered to us before picking up the keys.

Apartment inspection

We always make a migration check in the apartment when the previous resident moves away. As a new resident, you will also make the inspection yourself when you move.

Kerro application

We use resident communication and reserving your house services Kerro application . You can use it as a mobile app or through the web browser kerro .o4a.fi . Kerro the story, you can book a laundry or other residents.

Moving notification and change of address

  • Please report to the Post and the Digital and Population Information Agency (DVV) at least one week before moving.
  • You can conveniently submit your moving announcement online or at the Post office.

Electrical Agreement and Home Insurance

  • Make an electricity agreement with the electricity company of your choice before moving.
  • Take care of your home insurance in your new apartment.

Internet

Residents' pages

Residents' pages are the easiest and fastest way to do business with setting homes. You can handle almost all rental housing through them. The first time you need a strong authentication on the residents page, so you need an online banking ID or a mobile certificate.

Life situations can change. When it's time to move out of the setting homes, the following instructions will help you with a smooth change.

Termination of the lease and termination time

The lease must be terminated in writing through the residents' pages .

The notice period is at least one calendar month. The notice period begins with the last day of the calendar month during which you have made the dismissal. Eg dismissal 15.6. Decides on the lease on July 31. Please note that you can terminate your apartment earlier than a month before - kerro us which month you want to terminate the lease.

Final cleaning

Make sure that the apartment is thoroughly cleaned before the emigration. Also, be sure to clean the balcony, storage rooms and any other additional facilities. See the final cleaning checklist that you have remembered to clean everything you need.

Reimbursement of the keys

Return all the keys to the apartment to the lock shop on the end of the lease. In addition to the keys to the apartment, return any other property keys such as access tags, mailbox keys, temperature keys and parking permits.

Apartment inspection

A migration inspection is undergoing an apartment. The inspection will be carried out on the last day of the month after 4 pm.

Collateral refund

The security fee will usually be refunded within the following month after the end of the rental liability. The return of the collateral requires that the apartment has been properly cleaned, the keys have been returned on time, rents and other possible charges have been paid and no damage or deficiencies in the apartment have been liable for the tenant.

Moving notification and change of address

    • Please report to the Posti and the Digital and Population Information Agency (DVV) at your new address.
    • Remember to update your address to other important services and bodies as well.

Termination of contracts

    • Termination or transfer the electricity agreement to your new address.
    • Update your home insurance to match your new apartment.
    • Termination or transfer internet and other service contracts.
