Do our values resonate with you: courage, trust, local focus, community, equality, and justice, for which we are known and which guide our operations?

Welcome to a responsible work community where we create well-being throughout life. We meet each other and our customers. We offer a key role in the management and development of the group’s finances, within a skilled and inspiring work community where we succeed together!

We are seeking YOU as our CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER, a strategic thinker and a passionate developer of finance and processes.

You will work within the Setlementtiliitto Group. The Federation is a socially active organization whose goals of equality and democracy are also served by its corporate entities through their business operations. The CFO will strengthen these shared goals from the perspective of financial structures. The Group combines organizational work with its corporatized operational forms.

As CFO, you will be comprehensively responsible for financial management, efficiency, and development. The rest of us will support your work in achieving common goals. The role is divided in a 40/60 ratio between Setlementtiliitto and Setlementtiasunnot Oy, and you will be part of the management team in both.

Your employer is Setlementtiliitto. For the Federation’s duties, you will report to the CEO and the Federation’s board. For Setlementtiasunnot Oy, you will report to the CEO of housing and the company’s board of directors.

To succeed in this role, you need strong financial expertise, a proactive and committed approach to work, future-oriented renewal capability, and the ability to implement plans. You have the ability to grasp and manage broad entities and to develop new operating methods in a multidimensional operating environment.

In addition, we expect you to have:

• an innovative approach, collaborative skills, and creativity in carrying out tasks
• extensive experience in successful financial management (either as CFO or Financial Manager)
• previous experience in the ARA and/or rental housing sector
• understanding of public funding (e.g., STEA, OKM, EU)
• proficiency in English
• a relevant higher education degree for the position.

We are enthusiastic, do meaningful work, and approach our tasks with passion. We offer a diverse and interesting range of responsibilities in our growing and developing organization, as well as a pleasant and expert work community. You will fit well into our collaborative work community if you have good interaction and teamwork skills and want to promote equality, diversity, and social justice.

In addition to a responsible position, we offer you

• a competitive salary and good employee benefits
• freedom and responsibility for your own work
• the support of an excellent and expert team
• interesting and meaningful work.

If you recognize yourself in this description and our values and operations resonate with you, submit your CV and application by April 17, 2024. Interviews will be conducted on April 26 in Pasila.
