Social Responsibility
The core of our operations lies in social responsibility. We want every resident to feel a sense of belonging to the community – if they so wish. We create opportunities for encounters and shared activities in the common areas of our buildings and in block courtyards. All our buildings have an active residents’ committee that organizes communal activities and brings joy to everyday life.
Our resident advisors assist with daily challenges and support residents’ sense of community. The goal is to prevent problematic situations and enhance residents’ well-being.
Social responsibility is also reflected in our approach to being a work community. For us, community is part of everyday life even in the office. We work together and care for one another. Our employee satisfaction is high, and our employees are happy to recommend us as an employer. We believe that a thriving work community also builds better housing.
We are pioneers in promoting social diversity. Our buildings house people of different ages and life situations, including special groups such as individuals with developmental disabilities and the elderly.

Communication and Advocacy
We actively communicate about environmentally friendly solutions that can reduce the environmental impact of properties. We provide information on topics such as waste sorting, reducing water consumption, and choices affecting heating. The goal is to raise awareness and encourage daily responsibility.
RTS Environmental Classification guides our construction
In construction, we utilize the RTS Environmental Classification, which guides projects towards sustainability. The classification considers, among other things, the sustainability of the construction process, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, material choices, and environmental impacts. The RTS classification provides concrete tools for planning and implementing responsible construction.
Participating in the Climate Program
Setlementtiasunnot participates in the Central Chamber of Commerce’s Climate Program, which supports companies in concrete climate actions and achieving emission reduction targets.
