Irma Rekola has started work as CFO of Setlement dwellings.
"The importance of affordable housing is important for both society and residents, so it's great to be leading the economy of the setting dwellings and see the industry from the parade," says Rekola.
He is interesting to work in the setting field because community spirit and other values are playable in the setting field and aims to support people.
- It is important to understand that this is a different operating environment than a profit -seeking company, he nods.
Problem solver
Rekola manages and develops the economy of setting dwellings and works closely with stakeholder cooperation. He has graduated with a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics as a major in financial law.
- I have worked in financial management in different companies, different sizes and listed companies. I have worked for eg. Staria Corporation which provides financial and system services , says Rekola.
He has experience in ARA in the time when he was of the Jyränkölä Setlement .
Rekola says he likes a problem solution.
- I try to understand the entities, perhaps all about it. Sometimes the style of the crossword assignment is first invented by that thing that you find that I come up with this. Of course, they may not always be hooked, he smiles.
Home must be cozy
Rekola lives in Heinola. For him, living in living is important.
- It's just how great it is. A good home means that it is comfortable and peaceful and free, he says.
- What is a good home for you may not be a good home for me. It's so personal.
In his spare time, he says, according to his own words, "homely hobbies".
- I'm a lot at the cottage in the summer. In addition, I walk and go to a guided gym group a couple of times a week.
- I read pretty mixedly, especially the books of domestic writers. It relaxes, he says.
As a young Hanslankarina
Rekola says he has "seen a hammer" from a young age.
- My father has built holiday cottages and others, and my husband is a carpenter. I have sometimes been my father's Hanslankari, he laughs.
Familiarization with the work of setting dwellings began for a couple of days to visit the upcoming and current houses of the Settlement dwellings in Tampere.
- It has been nice to start working. We have a good, adherence to the work community, says Rekola.
