30 settlements operating in Finland across the country. Each of them is modeled after its local community. Together we form a strong and influential movement that aims to promote community, inclusion and equality. The work of the settlements touches tens of thousands of people every year – children, young people, families, the elderly and community members from different backgrounds.
Activities around Finland
The Finnish settlement agency employs approximately 2,600 professionals, and in addition, over 2,900 volunteers. The activities are based on genuine encounters and valuing other people.
The movement is diverse and responds to local needs. Core areas of work include:

- Housing services and community-based living: safe homes for all life situations
