The CEO of Setlementtiasunnot, Suvi Tuomala, has been elected as a member of the Board of ARVO, the Finnish Association of Social Enterprises for the years 2025–2026.
– The ARVO association promotes values that are important to us at Setlementtiasunnot, so it is wonderful to be part of its board. The core of Setlementtiasunnot’s operations is, above all, to produce social value, not just to increase financial value, says Tuomala.
ARVO acts as an advocate for social enterprises, an expert in social entrepreneurship, and a producer of information. It has over 70 member companies.
– In my work, I emphasize the importance of community, responsibility, and long-term development. As a member of ARVO’s board, I would like to promote cooperation and networking among our members. The municipal elections next spring are an important opportunity to highlight the significance of social enterprises, and I want to be involved in advancing this message, Tuomala states.
