Suvi Tuomala, Managing Director of Setlement Housing, has been elected Association of Social Businesses for 2025-2026.
-The Value Association promotes important values for us with setting dwellings, so it's great to be part of its government. At the heart of the setting dwellings is, above all, producing social value, not just increasing economic value, Tuomala says.
Value acts as a lobbyist for social companies, an expert in social entrepreneurship and as a producer of information. It has over 70 member companies.
- In my work, I emphasize the importance of community, responsibility and long -term development. As a board member, I would like to promote cooperation and networking between our members. Next spring's municipal elections are an important opportunity to highlight the importance of social companies, and I want to be involved in taking this message forward, Tuomala says.
