Kalasatama 's residential blocks in Helsinki will be filled with art in late August when the Art For All Art Festival begins. We are involved in the event.

Matti Jänkälä describes the festival as a blend of open day, block party and invitations between neighbors and guests. The works range from dance performances in the yard to textile and audiovisual installations.

The organizers of the festival hopes that residents will be boldly involved in making art. Jimin Hong's salt work attracts the audience to shape the installation, and Leena Pylkö's Home Cleaning Huisku offers residents a home cleaning service. On Saturday and Sunday, the children will also host an art workshop from 2 pm to 4 pm.

The Art For All Festival is open August 25-27. The artists finish their work on the spot the previous week.
