Senior homes are not service apartments, but they live in a home -like home in their own home. Residents may, if they so wish, apply for the services provided by the municipality, such as the Senior Information of the City of Helsinki, as the need for support increases.

Unique possibility for over 55 years of age
Homes over 55 offer the opportunity to prepare for the future and choose a home where you can live in a long time. Accessibility, lifts and spacious kitchens and bathrooms make everyday life smooth. The home does not have to change as age grows, but in a familiar environment you can continue living safely and comfortably.
Although some of our apartments are specifically designed for seniors, all other sites are also built in accordance with accessibility requirements (from 2002 on construction year). In this way, our ordinary rental housing is also perfect for elderly residents.
Communality in everyday life
The common facilities and events of our houses encourage you to get to know your neighbors and share moments of everyday life. There is also a resident committee in each house, through which residents can influence common issues, brainstorm and expire their homes.
The community is built to look like residents, and you can come with your own way and in its own contribution.

Applicants for a senior apartment must be at least 55 years old by the date of moving, according to the ARA resident selection criteria. You submit the application directly to us setting apartments.
