In June, Setlementtiasunnot participated in Dublin’s Social Housing Festival, the theme of which this year was storytelling. The event brought together stakeholders from around the world – experts, organizations, and housing policy influencers. They shared their experiences and practices to promote social housing.
– We are proud that Setlementtiasunnot was selected as the only Finnish organization for the finals of the European Responsible Housing Awards 2025 in the category ‘Building Strategic Alliances and Fostering Community Engagement,’ says Setlementtiasunnot’s CEO Suvi Tuomala. She attended the event together with Customer Relations Director Katri Kaukinen.
A total of 82 organizations from different parts of the world participated in the competition.
– This time we didn’t win, but reaching the finals is a significant recognition for our long-term work in promoting community and responsible housing, Tuomala says.
