The University of Tampere and ARA are launching a research and co-development project in the future of senior living.

The aim of the project is to identify multi-purpose and flexible housing solutions for those over 55 years of age so that they can live independently at home for as long as possible. The project develops new housing production models based on research information in joint workshops. The study also sought international models to develop and apply the housing of the elderly in Finnish living.

Setlementtiasunnot Oy also participates in a two -year project.

Eemeli Lönnqvist is the new real estate director in the project .

“We are excited to get this collaboration with Settlement Apartments to develop future senior housing in the future. In the future, the population will age and live longer in their own homes. In terms of senior living, we are also interested in utilizing the potential of new technological systems in the elderly.
