Live students begin property maintenance and cleaning training in the metropolitan area of the Settlement dwellings and make evidence. Students are thus offered a variety of training opportunities and thus also employment opportunities. The aim of the students is to create a sense of security and caring for residents of setting dwellings and to help improve the level of property maintenance and cleaning.
“I believe that this is now starting to work together to cooperate on both sides and our residents,” says Heli Kotilainen, .
Petri Seppänen a teacher of Live Property Management, also believes in the power of the cooperation .
“Through collaboration with setting dwellings, we are able to create learning paths in accordance with the basics of the degree in real work environments for students who are not yet able or otherwise able to go independently for the training contract. Settlement property managers are also strongly committed to cooperation.
Live students have a wide range of real estate indoor and outdoor work, which, according to Seppänen, is unique. In setting residential sites, Live students' extensive task repertoire can accommodate eg. Lubrication of doors locks and hinges, adjusting door pumps, replacing public lamps and hoods, managing names and rescue guides, distributing bulletins, clogging odor traps, inspection of rainwater and roofing wells, and various outdoor work for the property manager, such as snow and leaf removal.
Live people work in setting dwellings a couple of days a week. Live staff will be present to help and support students. "Of course, it is important to cooperate with the property managers of the Setlement dwellings. We agree on a house -by -house -by -house basis for each season and day. The cooperation also allows the future to increase the number of job sites according to our resources," Seppänen says.
