Neighborhood Week is observed across Finland from May 19–25, 2025
We will announce the winner of the Neighbor of the Year 2025 award in honor of the week. Our residents will also organize events at our buildings during the week.
What is Neighborhood Week?
Neighborhood Week is an internationally recognized event week that emphasizes the importance of neighborliness, community, and considering others. In Finland, the settlement movement brings the week into the lives of many localities with various activities and events. In addition to Setlementtiasunnot, 12 other settlements across Finland are participating in the event week.
Events during the week

20.5. The Neighbor of the Year 2025 award will be given to one of our residents.

Additionally, during the week, there will be resident events at least at our buildings in Hyvinkää, Hervanta in Tampere, and Kalasatama in Helsinki.
