The Board of Directors of Setlementtiasunnot Oy has received two new experts, Juha Kaakinen and Satu Mehtälä. Kari Hahl and Tauno Tuomivaara did not continue in the new government.
Juha Kaakinen, CEO of the Y Foundation, is an experienced developer of innovative housing solutions. To remove homelessness, homes are offered and produced as both homeless and social housing production. With 17,000 apartments, the Y Foundation is the largest Finnish non-governmental organization. Juha Kaakinen is also known as an advocate of the Passionate Housing First and affordable housing internationally.
M.Sc. (Econ.), CEO Satu Mehtälä has worked for 25 years in leadership positions for various companies and organizations; mm. In the position of Finance and Marketing Director, Communications Director and CEO. There is also experience in managerial and board of construction companies (Zao Lentek, YIT Corporation, Fira Group Oy and Woodprime Oy). He has held several positions of trust. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of the Disability Foundation and a member of the Settlement Association. He also has experience in the activities of third sector organizations and social companies.
