The status of hosting is important in the future
According to Sandsjoki, in rental companies, hosting work is a bit different from housing companies.
- It is in common that there is a multidisciplinary team serving customers, which may include, in addition to the property manager, customer service, rental supervisor, accountant, technical expert, real estate manager, maintenance manager and other professionals.
Tuomala also sees hosting work as a future field.
- Artificial intelligence and technology can replace many things, but hosting is primarily a customer service task that cannot be transferred to machines. There are also many jobs for future experts in hosting.

Tuomala is particularly pleased that two representatives of public benefit rental companies were elected to the Board of the Property Management Association
- There are nearly 750 non -profit rental companies in Finland, which also employ property managers. Many of us measure the satisfaction of residents, and it is at the heart of the work of the property manager, he says.
Sandsjoe emphasizes that job descriptions can be very different in different rental houses and that hosting is also done by different titles in rental companies.
- Regardless of the titles and job descriptions, our task in non -profit rental companies is to ensure that people have affordable housing, living and homes and houses remain in order. Our work directly affects vitality and availability of services, so our mission is very significant, he says.
