We have visited various sets this year and discussed the current and future opportunities for cooperation.
- Collaboration with the setting is valuable, as local setting is the best knowledge of the area's specific features and a solid skill. Settlements strengthen the community of our houses with their strong knowledge. This is an absolute competitive advantage for us, says Suvi Tuomala, CEO of Setlement dwellings.
The visits started early in the Tampere setting and continued in Turku in late January.
- Meetings in Aurala's Setlement and Turku Setlement were fruitful.
- For example, we have a truly well -kept regional living room with Aurala, which meets weekly in our house. Residents outside the house are also welcome there. This is at the heart of the setting work - a communal, engaging work in the midst of people, says Tuomala.
New opportunities for cooperation welcome
During the visit to Tampere, we also consider new opportunities for cooperation.
- Tampere has a very diverse setting, child and youth work, courses, community cafes, rehabilitative work and crisis services.
Online courses and other set -up activities on digital platforms also allow for a new way to cooperate with the sets in which the setting apartments have no houses in the area.
Meetings with setting continues.
- We are constantly looking for new cooperation with setting. So you will be in touch with us if you have new action ideas, Tuomala recalls.
