2024 was a year of strong working together in setting apartments. We moved purposefully, renewed our operations and strengthened the common direction.
One of the most important achievements of the year was updating the strategy in cooperation with the staff, the owner and the government. It reflected the way we act in a participation and according to our values, doing together.
Residents are the essence of all our activities. Our homes had over 2200 inhabitants and the occupancy rate remained high, 97.5 %. The changes in the housing market and the tightening competition were also reflected in us, but a strong community model supported throughout the year.
Communality was reflected in many ways in our daily lives. All of our houses had an active resident committee. Our Alppikylä Village won the Best Nordic neighborhood competition in the fall. The confession showed that community spirit is not only a word for us, but deeds, inclusion and genuine encounters. Thanks to our active residents first and foremost.
We also built something new in concrete terms. Hervanta launched an object, which will be completed this fall fifty homes, some of which are aimed at seniors. We want to make sure that safe and communal living is possible in different life situations.
All of these successes are based on our committed and knowledgeable staff, which has earned a special thanks. Our staff enables communal everyday life every day. Our staff satisfaction increased again. The fall result of 4.3 (on a scale of 1-5) shows that we are also on a good road as a work community.
