The Board of Setlementtiasunnot held its first meeting with the new composition on Tuesday, May 30.
Familiar and new faces were present. Raimo Hätälä joined as a new member, serving as the CEO of Oulun Sivakka Oy and Vice Chairman of the Board of KOVA ry, an association for owners of affordable rental and right-of-occupancy housing. Continuing on the board are Satu Mehtälä, Jussi Kemppainen, Mikko Santavuori, tenant representatives Sara Latifzei Obaidi and Marjo Lassila, and Chairman Pentti Lemmetyinen.
“It is a pleasure to work with an active and competent board. It is truly wonderful to have an expert in construction and non-profit housing with Raimo’s extensive experience join our board,” states Pentti Lemmetyinen.
During the day, a strategy update was conducted, and future plans were considered.
“The role of affordable housing and community will grow even further in the future. Setlementtiasunnot is ready to meet the challenge,” Lemmetyinen says.
