Hanna Myllyneva is working in our customer service team for the summer, until mid-August.

– It has started very well. I have received a lot of help from everyone, and I feel like I’ve learned a tremendous amount in just a few weeks. We have a very communal atmosphere at the office, she says.

Hanna handles customer service by phone and email.

– I have also, for instance, prepared parking space agreements for residents, and later in the summer, I might handle apartment viewings, she says.

Hanna is a first-year business student at Aalto University, so the work complements her studies well.

Interest in Housing and Community

Hanna says she finds it wonderful to be part of the process when someone finds a home.

– Home is such an important place, she reflects.

For her, the most important thing in her own home is peacefulness.

– Home is a place where you can take a breath. You can be in peace, see loved ones, and rest.

Her work at Setlementtiasunnot combines many things that interest Hanna: non-profit organizations, the NGO sector, and the housing industry.

– Even when I applied for this job, I had the idea that Setlementtiasunnot operates on an ecological basis, and its important values include communality and social justice. These are important values for me too.

In her free time, Hanna spends a lot of time with family and friends. She also exercises.

– I play basketball, go to the gym, and jog. And I enjoy reading books and watching movies, she smiles.
