Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Here are a few tips for celebrating the holidays.
Our office will be closed on December 25-26 and January 1, 2024. For urgent maintenance requests (e.g., water leaks and door openings), please contact maintenance. You can find their phone number in the contact information.
If you are roasting a Christmas ham, please dispose of the cooled cooking fat either in mixed waste, perhaps in a milk carton, or absorbed in paper in the biowaste bin. Fat should not be poured down the drain, as it can cause blockages.
Candles and lanterns create a warm atmosphere, but please do not leave them burning unattended.
Now is a good time to check that your home’s smoke detectors are in working order. The functioning of battery-operated smoke detectors and the replacement of their batteries are the resident’s responsibility. If, on the other hand, your apartment has smoke detectors connected to the electrical grid, they are legally the responsibility of the housing company.
Did you receive or wrap Christmas presents? Wrapping paper and ribbons belong in mixed waste.
Once Christmas is over, Christmas trees should be left outside the waste shelter.
