Are you going on vacation? Remember a few things before the trip.
- Close the windows and balcony door.
- If you are away for a long time, turn the mail or ask your neighbor to collect mail from the door. This way the thieves must not be angry that you are gone. For a short distance, it is enough to leave the inner door open to fit the mailbox.
- Close the washing machine and dishwasher water tap. However, it would be safest to close after each use.
- At least remove the plugs for electrical equipment that may heat up. It is also good to remove the coffee maker, toaster and kettle from the wall.
- Take the garbage and empty the spoiled goods from the refrigerator.
