Suvi Tuomala has been appointed Managing Director of Setlementtiasunnot Oy. He will take up the position on September 14, 2022.
Who are you and where do you come from?
I am Suvi Tuomala, a management and real estate expert from Orimattila. I am a civil engineer by education, I have also completed a special qualification in leadership. For the past five years I have worked as CEO at Orimattila apartments, before that as CEO at Pudasjärvi rental buildings.
I have a variety of experience and training in real estate management positions. My best aspects are to perceive the big entities and to move the company with the staff, the government and the owner.
I get excited and inspire others. I like to network, develop new things and follow the development of the industry. Openness, authenticity and honesty are important values for me.
In my spare time, I usually find me in my family, but less often on the home sofa. Together we do exercise and culture together.

How do you see the role of setting dwellings in the rental market in the future?
Settlement apartments play a key role in a leader in responsible, communal and affordable living. The importance of community and living ecology will grow further in the future. Our most important task is to provide our residents homes.
