Setlementtiasunnot Initiates Cooperation with Metropolia University of Applied Sciences
The cooperation agreement was signed in October 2020, and both parties believe it will yield diverse and fruitful collaboration, as well as the mutual development of expertise.
“As a large and multidisciplinary university of applied sciences, Metropolia can offer partners new perspectives for collaborative projects. It is rare to find insights and expertise under one roof for, say, spatial design, the well-being of the elderly, or stakeholder analysis – we have all of this. By connecting the right parties, highly comprehensive and fresh new solutions can be achieved in collaborative projects,” describes Area Manager, Annakaisa Oksava.
“In our first collaborative project, the Kontula student housing construction project, we held workshops together with Metropolia students and gained numerous ideas for the practical implementation of the project. The building will now truly reflect its users,” says Marja Mesimäki, Development Manager at Setlementtiasunnot.
