The comfort and undisturbed nature of your living are of paramount importance to us. If, unfortunately, disturbance issues occur in your building, we will address the matter with all available means. The first step is for you to submit a written disturbance report.

You can submit disturbance reports electronically through the tenant portal starting from June 25, 2024. You can log in to the tenant portal at setlementtiasunnot-asukassivut.etampuuri.fi.

You do not need to sign the disturbance report separately, as logging into the tenant portal requires strong authentication with bank IDs or a mobile certificate.

How to do it

  1. Fill out the disturbance report on a computer or phone. The disturbance report is also available in the document bank of the tenant portal. NOTE! If you fill out the disturbance report on a mobile device, you will need a separate application (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Reader, which can be downloaded for free).
  2. Log in to the tenant portal.
  3. Add a new message and select “Disturbance Report” from the Classification field.
  4. Attach the completed disturbance report.
  5. Send the message.

We will do everything within the framework of the law to resolve the disturbance. To intervene, we require a written disturbance report from at least two individuals residing in different households.

After receiving the reports, we will investigate the background of the case and contact the party causing the disturbance. We may issue a warning or a written notice depending on the nature of the disturbance. Actions may not be taken if the disturbance is minor and short-lived. Setlementtiasunnot cannot disclose to neighbors what measures have been taken regarding disturbances.

We always handle disturbance reports confidentially. If the consequences of a report are dealt with in court, the signatory of the complaint may be called as a witness.
